Havering L4s were away in Maldon for the penultimate game of the season. As expected, it was a tough match but Havering, once again, brought their A-game and worked well together throughout. High paced from the start, the defence fought hard, from Georgina Perry with her reliable dead-stops and tackle wins on the right all the way across to Jess Kench smashing her stand-in defensive role on the left, while the mids and forwards, adding some of the week's training techniques to their already effective repertoire, created numerous (albeit refused) opportunities. Havering's relentlessness and consistent follow throughs secured results in the second half with Alex Casemore opening the scoring and managed to maintain the lead for a further 15 minutes before Maldon's equaliser. An absolute team effort with every player impressing but shining again, Izzy Ridley took player of the match honours.
