Havering L4s were at away against Old Loughtonians 5s on Saturday in a match filled with great teamwork, hard and fast drives, solid blocks and excellent skills work with possession and goal attempts relatively equally shared between the teams. An exquisite channel of play from Jodie Briton out to Charlotte Mailley who crossed to Mahmoona Shah, set Shah up to score with a calm and and clever slice past the goalie, putting Havering in the lead. Several amazing saves, including an impressive dive from Payer-of-the-match Sophie McCoy maintained that lead, resulting in a 1-0 win for Havering.
