Havering L4s were at home against Southend 3s on Saturday. With dynamic positioning in the midfield and frontline, Havering worked well, creating several opportunities at goal. The attack saw Jodie Briton, Sophie Runcorn and Jess Kench regularly winning possession, Mahmoona Shah, Tracey True-Evans and Louisa Steadman consistent and cohesive up front and numerous outstanding and iconic drives and from Charlotte Mailley, Izzy Ridley and Alex Casemore, all leading to confident pursuits to score. Unfortunately, even with a number of attempts through shorts, Havering couldn't crack their final defences to convert but Liz Meehan, Lisa Briton, Georgina Perry, Theresa Bayley and Trudie Clarke defended Havering's goal line equally well, resulting in a 0-0 draw. Steadman, impressing in her debut match, shared Player-of-the match title with superstar Ridley.
