Havering travelled to nearby Brentwood to play their second match of the weekend, a rearranged game from before the Christmas break.

It turned out to be a real game of 2 halves with Havering dominating and scoring in the first and Brentwood fighting back and scoring in the second for a 1-1 draw. Havering began really strongly and pulled Brentwood all over the place. Steph Prowse saw an early penalty corner shot saved and Emily Martin had a shot deflected away. With Sue Harwood and Louise Burgess making great runs, Brentwood struggled to cope with the pace and throughout the first half had 3 players temporarily suspended for poor tackling. Emma Isherwood, Nic Earl, Katie Griggs, Emily Gilkes-Tarsey and Martin all had further attempts to put Havering ahead but they went either wide or were scrambled away. Eventually Charlotte Chamberlin put Harwood through and she took the ball around several defenders and slipped it past the keeper into the goal. Havering continued to pressure and with the defence of Prowse, Bukki Olodo, Sam Cash and Wendy Schofield holding firm, keeper Sophie McCoy was largely untroubled. In the second half Brentwood got their discipline back and began to work better together to break down Havering's attacks. Burgess, Harwood, Isherwood and Prowse all had chances again but it was Brentwood who scored to equalise after a dubious penalty corner was awarded and converted. Havering saw several penalty corners of their own kept out and the game remained at 1-1.
