Final Score: Southend 0 – 6 Havering

Dominant Havering Secure Emphatic Away Victory!

Havering continued their impressive run of form this Saturday, delivering a clinical performance to dismantle Southend with a convincing 6-0 win. Building on the momentum from last week, the visitors displayed a relentless fighting spirit and tactical discipline that the home side simply couldn't match.

First Half: Persistence Pays Off
Havering started the match with high intensity, mirroring the grit and determination seen in their previous outing. The breakthrough nearly came via a short corner; while the initial strike was saved by the Southend keeper, the rebound fell kindly to a Havering attacker. A goal seemed certain until the ball struck a Southend defender's foot on the line, resulting in a penalty flick.
Liam Keeling stepped up to the spot and clinicaly slotted the ball into the lower left corner. Although the keeper managed to get a touch, the power was enough to carry it into the net for a 1-0 lead.
Southend refused to sit back, attempting to find an equalizer through several quick breaks. However, their attacks were consistently thwarted by the Havering goalkeeper Sebastian Waters whose quick thinking and positioning ensured the visitors went into the break with their clean sheet intact.

Second Half: The Martin and Liam Show
If Southend hoped for a drop in tempo after the interval, they were quickly disappointed. Havering emerged for the second half without slowing down, dominating possession and suffocating the home side. The final 35 minutes turned into a masterclass in finishing, as Martin John and Liam Keeling proved unstoppable.
* Goal 2: Great work from Liam Keeling and a well timed pass created space for Martin John to shoot and score after a sharp initial save by the keeper.
* Goal 3: A well-executed short corner routine saw Terry Turner pair up with Liam Keeling, allowing Liam Keeling to notch his second goal of the game.
* Goal 4: With Havering relentless on the attack, Liam Keeling found the net once more to complete a superb hat-trick.
* Goal 5: The ball shifted to Liam Keeling on the right side of the D and his strike towards the back post was deflected in by Martin John giving the keeper no chance. Resulting into another goal for Martin John.
* Goal 6: In the closing stages, Havering’s ball movement was sublime. Rapid transfers from side to side found AJ near the top of the D. His smart strike was already goal-bound, but Martin John made certain with a deflection to seal the 6-0 win and giving Martin his hat-trick of the game.

It was a complete performance from Havering, defined by clinical finishing and a solid defensive foundation.
