Havering made an early morning trip to Old Southendian’s on a frosty Saturday for another crucial clash following top of the table Chelmsford’s draw the following Gameweek.
On a tricky, icy surface, both teams toiled for supremacy, with Havering showing dominance, but being unable to convert the advantage into goals, including 3 short corners.
Several times, Havering players slipped on the surface when stretching for incoming balls, thwarting many good chances.
Frustration began to set in, with both sides receiving green cards as the conditions proved not to be conducive for goal scoring opportunities.
Mike Caruana struck the foot of the post with one of the last actions of the match which closed as a frustrating 0-0 draw, a result which did neither side many favours.
Havering face Braintree at Campion next week in what will be yet another crucial top of the table clash.
