Havering had the better of a goalless first half, failing to convert numerous chances while looking solid at the back.
East London started well after the break and soon took the lead from a short-corner. The hosts struck back with a short-corner of their own, converted by Mike Caruana-Smith. Desperate for a win to avoid relegation, the visitors hit back almost immediately to regain the lead. Then followed Havering's best spell of the game, which was rewarded with two goals from club top-scorer Adam Willett and one from Alex Lee to see Havering to a deserved victory.
