Havering hosted top of the table Broxbourne at Campion, missing five first team regulars. Within the opening 10 minutes Havering showed some promising early signs but then lost Paul Dover to injury shortly followed by Stuart Garnell. The away side won three first half penalty corners scoring all three giving Havering a mountain to climb in the second half.

Broxbourne continued to push early in the second half scoring another three unanswered goals. The only bright point of the second half were performances from Liam Appleyard and Adam Willett with the later scoring his first 1’s goal after being played through and rounding the away keeper and finishing with a diving reverse stick finish.

Further injuries followed for Havering with Zak Nukes, Chris Dunn and Jack Barlow all picking up knocks with injured players having to return to the pitch to make up the numbers. Broxbourne scored a further two goals to cap off a game to forget for the hosts. Havering travel to Bourne next week and will need to regroup quickly in order to put their season back on track.
