Havering started slowly and I E-S mounted early pressure to capitalise on this. If it wasn't for MOTM Nik Males in goal then the away team could have been trailing early. Havering eventually settled into the game and created some good chances but couldn't convert, and it was I E-S who right on the stroke of half time scored after a deflected short corner.
The second half was a more much cagey affair with both teams being reduced to 10 as the standard of tackling deteriorated. Havering gained momentum from this and piled on the pressure in the closing stages but despite some clear chances they couldn't take away a deserved point.
