Havering were edged out 5–4 by Hertford in a dramatic nine-goal thriller, with the visitors scoring a last-minute winner to take all three points.

Havering started brightly, creating a number of opportunities and winning several short corners, but Hertford's defence stood firm, blocking the early attempts. Despite Havering's pressure, it was Hertford who broke the deadlock, taking an early 1–0 lead.

Havering responded well and eventually found a way through from another short corner, with Connor stepping up to fire home a drag flick and bring the game level at 1–1.

The momentum continued to swing Havering's way. After winning a penalty flick, Liam kept his composure from the spot to put Havering 2–1 ahead.

Hertford refused to let the hosts settle, however, finding an equaliser to make it 2–2. Both sides continued to create chances in an open and entertaining first half, but Havering had the final say before the break.

With half-time approaching, Havering worked a short corner routine perfectly, with Willet finishing the move to restore the lead at 3–2 on the stroke of half-time.

Hertford came flying out of the blocks after the restart and turned the game on its head with two quick goals, moving 4–3 ahead.

Havering responded once again. Connor grabbed his second goal of the afternoon to level the scores at 4–4 and set up a frantic final period.

Both teams had opportunities to find the decisive goal, with the game looking as though it could have gone either way. However, with just a minute remaining, Hertford broke forward on the counter and found the winning goal to make it 5–4.

Havering pushed for one final response, but Hertford held on to claim a dramatic victory.
