Essex are holding 3 Player Assessment Days for each age group.
The cost is £50 for assessment, it is better if you attend them all because you have more chance of being noticed.

NOTE:
- There will not be any other opportunities for selection this year
- Players should only trial for 1 County
- TA Players should not attend or pay until they know their outcome

U16/17 (Years 11 & 12 in September)

Details for Assessments
Players should wear a White Top & White Socks, School kit is acceptable
NO CLUB OR ESSEX KIT IS TO BE WORN, ANY PLAYER ARRIVING IN SUCH KIT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY

GOALKEEPERS SHOULD BRING THEIR OWN KIT

PLEASE BRING DRINKS, SUNSCREEN, SANITISER, SHIN PADS, GUM SHIELDS, HOCKEY STICK, WATERPROOFS

If you are successfully selected to Essex County Junior Hockey you will be expected to attend up to 6 training sessions, East competitions days, Finals Day & to purchase Essex County Kit (the cost is likely to be £150 plus kit)
Financial Assistance maybe available if selected

What happens after assessments?
If you are not selected, we are unable to give individual feedback so please don’t ask, just play as much hockey as you can and try again next year.

If you are unsuccessful at Talent Academy please attend our last assessment session, if you cannot attend the last session please try to attend one of the others but you need to let me know you are coming so I can let you know what to pay
