1. Havering Hockey Club's Belief


At Havering Hockey Club, we follow England Hockey’s belief that hockey is a sport to be enjoyed by all who participate, be it as a player, official, volunteer or spectator. By following this code Havering Hockey club (along with England Hockey) believes the highest standards of integrity can be held at all levels of the game and can therefore ensure the sport is enjoyable for everyone.

At Havering Hockey Club there is a system for dealing with any complaints or questions.

1. In the first instance, communication should be through the Captain or Vice-Captain of the relevant team or the club Welfare Officer. If this is not appropriate then the coach of the relevant team should be approached.

2. If the matter is not resolved or it is not appropriate to communicate with any of the above the relevant Player Representative should be approached.

3. If the matter is not resolved or it is not appropriate to communicate with any of the above a member of the Executive committee should be approached.

4. In the rare circumstance a matter cannot be resolved within Havering Hockey Club and all the relevant channels have been exhausted, the matter should be referred to England Hockey Club. (Please see above link for the procedure for this.)
