Southend and Benfleet 3s vs Havering 2s

On Saturday Havering Ladies 2s looked to continue their good run of results against Siuthend and Benfleet 2s. With an early short corner Emilie Molloy and Rae Ahmad were unlucky not to score. Rae however shortly followed this up with a field goal to start the score sheet. Cidney Payton and Teagan Bunn worked hard to ensure the ball remained up the away team end, with Rae almost scoring again, but being tapped in at the last moment by Jessie Watson as Rae and the goal keeper collided. Nina Brennan scored again for Havering bribing the 1st half to an end at 3-0 and Rae keen to see if she could gain a hat trick.

Emma Isherwood made great runs up front for Emilie Molloy and Nic Earl to pass to from the Havering 16 hit outs. With great team work up front Rae almost scored again however the goal being equally claimed by Emma Isherwood. Steph Dickinson and Katie Mann continued great running down the wings and in the centre of the pitch to keep the energy high in the second half, with Wendy Schofield making great tackles to ensure Southend and Benfleet were unable to get far into the Havering 25. Havering found the net once more with Emma assisting Katie this time for the match to end 5-0. A great team performance from the ladies 2s with one more match to go!
