Southend 3's vs Havering

On Saturday Havering Ladies 2's faced Southend away. Southend looked to try and hit balls through the Havering midfield and defence. The first part of the game saw a lot of loose balls which Emilie Molloy and Nic Earl looked to collect and send back to the forwards. Emma Isherwood picked up many of the balls coming back down the pitch and scored Haverings first goal of the match. Havering earned a short corner shortly after, with Emilie Molloy hitting from the top of the D which was rebounded. Emma Isherwood then hit the ball back towards the keeper who had been unlucky not to stop the ball, with Southend's last defender also unable to stop the ball Havering scored their second goal. Havering looked to press again with Jessie Watson making great runs down the right hand side of the pitch into the D. Kayleigh Rochford picked up on the end of one of Jessie's runs putting the ball into the centre of the D for Emma to hit in for Haverings 3rd goal.
The second half started 3-0 to Havering with Steph Dickinson putting in excellent work for Havering in the centre of the pitch to keep Havering strong in the centre. Teagan Bunn and Millie George put in great tackles and defence at the 16s ensuring the ball was unable to get past the half way. Southend looked to attack back however earning a short corner, from which they were able to score bringing the score to 3-1. Emma Isherwood continued to pepper the goal in the second half from great passes in from the team but unfortunately was unable to score again for the away team. A great win for Havering away with a brilliant team performance.
