2-2 draw a good result but sharper shooting could have seen Havering take all 3 points.

Havering Ladies - 2 Redbridge and Ilford Ladies - 2

Havering Ladies knew they were in for a tough game as they hosted league leaders, Redbridge and Ilford who had been scoring freely against their previous oppositions. However it was Havering who started the stronger and quickly put the Redbridge defence under pressure, Alex Semon going close in the opening five minutes. Redbridge tried to take advantage from a quick break but Steph Prowse and Wendy Schofield were able to contain that pressure. Havering took the lead from a penalty corner, Catherine Semon slipped the ball to Emma Isherwood who struck the ball well to see it fly into the net deflecting up off the keeper's pads. Havering were unlucky not to increase their lead, the Redbridge keeper making some great saves from Isherwood, the Semon sisters and Vicky Lynch. It was Redbridge who scored next to equalise, again taking advantage of a quick break to drive unopposed into the circle and score. Havering keeper, Tamara Bailey pulled off a couple of good saves just prior to the break and the scored remained even at half time. The second half saw Redbridge come out quickly and again score from a quick break. Havering kept their heads up and played the ball around the midfield well, Lauren Earle, Hollie Dawkins, Sue Harwood and Nic Earl supporting Catherine Semon and Lynch well. Again a number of chances went begging, Isherwood missing what should have been a tap in and Alex Semon shooting wide but perseverance paid off and she scored from a penalty corner to grab the equaliser. Alex Semon was unlucky not to get a winner near the end of play, putting her shot just wide of the post. A draw was a good result but sharper shooting could have seen Havering take all 3 points.
