It was a disappointing draw for Havering Ladies 1s away at Harlow. In pouring rain and driving wind Havering dominated from the start but it took a while to get the breakthrough. It eventually came when Vicky Lynch released the ball through to Emma Isherwood who saw her initial shot saved but followed up to see the ball cross the line off the defender's foot. Lauren Earle, Hollie Dawkins and Wendy Schofield made good runs down the right wing but the crosses could not be converted. Havering increased the lead when Ellie Gane, on her way back from injury, dribbled the ball half the length of the pitch to find Alex Semon who cracked the ball home. Isherwood fired a penalty stroke straight at the keeper denying Havering the chance to increase their lead. Further chances went astray and Havering rued those missed opportunities as Harlow found a gap through the defence to grab a goal back before halftime. The second half saw Havering fail to maintain the dominance they had shown in the first half and the game became a scrappy affair. Keeper Tamara Bailey made several good saves but again Harlow battled well to pull back and score the equaliser. Nic Earle and Sue Harwood were both unlucky not to nab a winner towards the end.
