Colchester Mens II 2 – Havering Mens II 2
Top scorer Adam Willett netted twice to a earn Havering draw at fellow strugglers Colchester on a cold late afternoon at the Garrison Ground.
Willett opened the scoring in the opening minutes as Havering started brightly. The hosts responded soon after from a counter attack. Havering then regained the lead as Willett tapped in when the ball came loose have been trapped between the Colchester keeper's legs. Havering went into the break with a 2-1 lead.
Havering dominated the second half, with James Diggins going close with a deflection that went narrowly wide. The visitor's best chance however, fell to Joni Ishikawa, who rounded the keeper but he failed to finish, slicing his shot wide in front of an open goal.
Unfortunately for Havering the hosts claimed a point when they drilled home from a short-corner with minutes remaining.
