Havering were part of another hard fought game over the weekend as they took on West Herts but unfortunately they didn’t return with any points. The game itself was a very stop and start affair which was highlighted in the first minute of the game when both keepers were asked to change their clashing tops after a ‘pass’ was directed straight to Bennett in the Havering goal. Bennett easily negotiated this situation however he could do nothing about a well-placed drag flick later on in the first half after West Herts had been awarded several short corners. The game stayed at 1-0 as Havering pressed harder in the second half which caused the game to open up. With all this pressure forward it left Havering exposed at the back and when West Herts broke away up the pitch they could easily work the ball in for a second before the final whistle went.
