Not only did Emily sign autographs and allow the youngsters to try on her medal but she also joined in with the session and offered advice and coaching throughout. Its safe to say we had some excited children (and coaches) throughout the morning who will no doubt be supporting their "friend" Emily in her future competitions.

Emily has recently been appointed as 'East London Hockey Ambassador' where her remit is to promote hockey into as many clubs and schools in the area as we prepare for a home World Cup in 2018.
