The weather was perfect, we had 83 participants, spanning 3 generations, there were babies, minis, current and past players, family, friends and representatives from the Hockey Writers Association.

Many of you turned up just to be part of the day and witness the unveiling of the plaque commissioned by the Hockey Writers Association along with our own tribute.

We raised £750 on the race, £100 on the food and £100 from the charity buckets - with the addition of Gift Aid - we should have raised approx. £1120 for Tom's charity - amazing generosity from you all.

Was a real traditional club day to remember our friends 'G' and Tom.
